Coldstream transfers right of ways to RDNO

The District of Coldstream is transferring land to one of its regional partners for a nominal fee.

The district has announced it intends to transfer its statutory right of ways on two properties to the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) to protect RNDO’s interest in Greater Vernon Water infrastructure.

The properties are at 6012 Highway 6 and 9900 School Road in Lavington.

“There is GVW infrastructure within those SRW’s that need to be transferred to RDNO in order to protect the pipes in the ground,” Trevor Seibel, Coldstream’s chief administrative officer, told Vernon Matters.

Coldstream will receive $1 for disposing of the statutory right of ways “and other valuable consideration.”
