Road work planned for Vernon street

A detour will be in effect for a portion of 35th St. this week.

Traffic will be rerouted off 35th St. between 31st and 32nd Avenues effective as early as 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22.

Local traffic will be able to use the road during the work, which is expected to be completed by Thursday evening, barring any unforseen complications.

Access to area businesses will remain open for pedestrians.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternative routes and are reminded to slow down and be cautious of workers in construction zones.
