The directors for the Regional District of North Okanagan have all been decided, nearly a full month before ballots are actually cast in the 2022 Local General Election.

As of Friday, Sept. 16, all five RDNO directors won their seats by acclamation.

Bob Fleming (Area B Swan Lake-Commonage), Amanda Shatzko (Area C, BX-Silver Star), Rick Fairbairn (Area D, Rural Lumby), and Jim Johnson (Area E, Cherryville), all secured their positions when the candidates were first announced, as each ran unopposed.

Newcomer Allysa Hopkins was in a race for director of Area F (Rural Enderby)against two other newcomers, but both her opponents dropped out of the race just ahead of the withdrawal deadline Friday, securing the seat for Hopkins.
