Your KISS FM Events Crew was having a blast out in the sun today at the Vernon Yacht Club’s Boat and Watersports show!
We were set up just inside the entrance giving away SunRype treats as well as some beautiful Okanagan landscape photography books by Digital Dean Photography. The crowds were out in full force and so was the sun, we had the chance to walk around and check out all the awesome water sport and boating equipment at all the different tents! Unfortunately, due to technical issues the McLennan F1 (Canada’s fastest boat) was not able to be demo’ed today, but all the amazing technology and gear made up for it. Attendees had the opportunity to demo the Jetsurf, which is a motorized wake board that you can ride on your own, without having to be towed by a boat! There were also some great deals from companies such as Innerspace Watersports, like no tax on any purchases you made today! There’s kayaks, canoes, dive suits, inflatable paddle boards, and so much more!
If you stop by the Vernon Yacht Club tent you can enter for a chance to win a Twin Anchors Houseboat vacation! Just past the Yacht Club there is a photo studio set up where you can do an entire photo shoot with a mermaid!
You also don’t have to worry about parking, because you can park at Marshall Fields and take the FREE Kal Tire shuttle to and from the Yacht Club! Admission is free with a donation for the Salvation Army Food Bank, so come on out to the Vernon Yacht Club Boat & Watersports show today, open until 4pm!
