On August 8, 2022 Eva Ahl passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 85 years.
Eva was born in East Germany and immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s. She lived in Edmonton, AB, where she met her husband, Ernst, and had 3 children. The family moved to Vernon in 1975 where they enjoyed living the Okanagan lifestyle. Eva loved to play tennis and golf and enjoyed playing Canasta and Bridge with her friends.
Eva was predeceased by her loving husband Ernst Ahl. She will be dearly missed by her children: Monica Rush (Kevin), Randy Ahl (Heather) & Corinne McWhinney (Mike); grandchildren: Donald Drover (Tricia), Kenda Drover, Kevin Ahl, Aaron Ahl, Braden Ahl, Andrew McWhinney & Aidan McWhinney; great grandchildren Odin Drover, Rourke Reimer, Arlen Drover & Kaladin Drover; brother: Joachim Reich.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am, on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Prestige Vernon Hotel in the Ellison Salon. (4411-32 Street, Vernon)
