Precautionary water advisory lifted in Greater Vernon

Greater Vernon Water has rescinded the precautionary water quality advisory for areas impacted by work on April 8.

The project to repair the water main, which affected customers in the North Aberdeen, French, Pottery, East Vernon, Black Rock, Nickle, Buchanan and Binns Road areas, was completed on April 8.

Bacterial testing results have now shown the disinfection levels are within normal drinking water standards in the distribution system, leading to the GVW rescinding the water quality advisory.
