Apr 2, 2022 | 10:00 PM

It’s now down to a best of five.

The West Kelowna Warriors scored four straight goals en route to a 5-3 win over the visiting Vernon Vipers Saturday night, squaring their first round BCHL playoff series at one game each.

The Vipers made a game of it, getting goals from Seiya Tanaka Campbell and Reagan Milburn, with his second of the game, in the third period to pull to within two, but that’s as close as they would get.

John Evans and Nicolas Ardanaz both scored two goals for the Warriors who were a desperate team after losing 5-2 to Vernon Friday.

A crowd of 1,026 took in the game at Royal Lepage Place.

The Vipers host games 3 and 4 Monday and Wednesday (both 7 p.m.) at Kal Tire Place, with tickets on sale at the Vipers box office or online.

Students and children can get free tickets for the Vernon home games, but they have to be picked up at the box office at Kal Tire Place.
