Vipers beat Bucks in Sunday shootout

A Sunday afternoon crowd of 1,781 fans saw the Vernon Vipers edge the Cranbrook Bucks 3-2 in a shootout at Kal Tire Place.

Vipers goalie Roan Clarke was named the first star with 39 saves and JoJo Tanaka Campbell scored the shootout winner as the Vipers improved to 24-19-4-3 with four games left in their BCHL regular season.

Cam MacDonald and Reagan Milburn scored Vernon’s other goals while Noah Quinn had both goals for Cranbrook.

The sixth place Vipers play their next two games against the Merritt Centennials starting Wednesday, March 16 in the Coquihalla city.
