B.C. reports 2,103 new COVID-19 cases, 44 deaths over long-weekend
British Columbia lost 44 people to COVID-19 over the long weekend.
The B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) data showed that seven of the deaths between Feb. 18 and 22 were recorded in the Interior. To date, 2,830 British Columbians have died due to COVID-19, 348 of whom were from the Interior.
Also over the long-weekend, 2,103 new cases were confirmed across the province:
- Feb 18–19: 631
- Feb 19–20: 571
- Feb 20–21: 424
- Feb 21–22: 477
