Virtual all candidates forum planned for Kelowna-Lake Country riding
The Chambers of Commerce for Lake Country and Kelowna are joining together to co-host a virtual all candidates forum.
The event will see candidates for the Kelowna-Lake Country riding speak to the members of the chambers, as well as other attendees wishing to participate.
The candidates for the riding Cade Desjarlais (NDP), Tracy Gray (Conservative Party), Tim Krupa (Liberal Party), Brian Rogers (Peoples Party), and Imre Szeman (Green Party) will be asked about issues critical to the region, such as affordable housing, inter-provincial trade, global competitiveness, and responding to labour market demands. The forum will also focus on the Canadian Chamber’s key topic of “What it takes to grow – Priorities for the next parliament.”
The forum will be moderated by Dan Rogers, Executive Director of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, who will ask questions put forward by members of each of the chambers.
