Some residents on the Okanagan Indian Band are having to flee their homes due to the White Rock Lake Fire.
The band’s chief and council issued an evacuation order at 4:45 p.m. Sunday “due to immediate danger to life safety caused by White Rock Lake Wildfire.”
The band says members of the RCMP, Search and Rescue and other applicable agencies will be expediting this action.
