Chip Bag Beats

Apr 26, 2017 | 6:22 AM

When the Guardians of The Galaxy vol. 2 trailer came out, one of the most exciting things about it was the music.

The guardians running around saving the galaxy set to anything other than classic 60’s and 70’s hits wouldn’t exactly be a sequel.

So I was excited when Melanie O’hara posted a blog last week outlining the soundtrack, including Fleetwood Mac, E.L.O., and cat stevens.

The album will be released officially on April 28th, digitally…and otherwise.

The soundtrack will also be available for you listening pleasure through a Doritos bag.

Marvel studios teamed up with the chip maker to create a custom-designed, limited edition series of Doritos bags with a built-in, rechargeable cassette decks that play the whole soundtrack.

Peter Quill would be proud.

But on a serious note, are you really going to keep an old cheesy bag of chip around just to listen to some songs?

Oh and one more thing, the last song on the soundtrack is called Guardians Inferno, performed by The Sneepers (a made up band) and featuring David Hasslehoff, and well, it’s suprisingly good.

Take a listen.
