Half million dollar win

Vernon ticket gets a slice of Lotto Max cash

The record setting Lotto Max jackpot for the Tuesday, June 8 draw attracted a lot of attention, and someone who purchased a ticket in Vernon has a $250,000 winner.

The winning ticket with 20 23 28 29 38 45 46 will split $500,000 with a playnow.com winner.

Twenty-eight of the 50 $1 million Maxmillion prizes that were up for grabs were won in the record-breaking draw that had a total of $117 million available.

Ontario had 14 winning tickets, six were sold in the prairie region, five in Quebec, two in British Columbia and one in the Atlantic provinces.
