It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Adelle on Friday May 14, 2021 at the age of 84.
Adelle grew up in Manitoba on the family farm with her 5 siblings. She moved to Saskatchewan then to Alberta finally settling in BC. Late in life she moved to Vernon and started a new life for herself, making new friends, joining the legion where she loved music, singing and dancing. She also volunteered at Schubert Center where she worked in the thrift store, she loved giving back to her community.
Adelle is survived by her children Shelly and Kevin; granddaughters Aurora and Brooke Lindley, and her son Rene and Kelly Pellerin.
Her daughter Shelly would like to thank the dedicated staff at Gateby Care Facility for the wonderful care she received where she lived until her end-of-life
.Mom faced unimaginable adversity with strength and dignity. Adelle will be laid to rest in a family grave site where she will never be alone.
