Wilfred Ernst Schleith

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Wilfred Ernst Schleith on May 29, 2021 at the age of 93. His life started in Germany and in the 50’s he settled in Canada and built his very own home, where his family still lives.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Maureen Schleith. He leaves behind his companion and wife, Medea Rodney, his daughter, Alma Tees, grandchildren, Cora-Lee Goncalves (Tom), Amanda Gunn (Damien), Jarad Koss (Jenn) and numerous other grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Vernon Funeral Home for their help in the process of an expected death at home.
As requested by Wilf, there will be no celebration of life due to Covid. He will be cremated and immediate family will place him in a tomb at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops with Maureen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the BC Mental Health Foundation.
