It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Daune Marie Bulmer, at the age of 73, on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

She sadly leaves behind her husband, Fred, of over 50 years, her 4 children Marcy (Travis), Sean (Christine), Stephanie (Paul), Lindsay and her sister Darlene (Neil).

Daune had 7 wonderful grandchildren whom she loved and cherished and would spend as much time as she could with. She was also “nana” to many others throughout the years who will also miss her greatly. Her life was full of love, fun, laughter and a lot of crazy times. Her bucket was overflowing with happiness.

Daune’s happy place was Hawaii and she loved to read and go camping with her family. She enjoyed her shopping dates and having coffee with good friends. Everyone you talk to about her says she was a sweet lady who always took the time to listen. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.

Daune requested to be cremated so she could be “eternally warm.” There will be no funeral or memorial service but we will have “one heck of a party” (Daune’s words) at a later date.

Daune was sassy and sarcastic right to the end, giving her husband and children some laughs and good ol’ eye rolls as we said our goodbyes. We wouldn’t have expected anything less from a fabulous wife, mother and nana.
