Pop-up spray parks proposed to keep cool

The Polson Park spray park is being decommissioned due to health and safety concerns, but residents can still keep their cool on hot summer days.
The cost of taking the spray park out of the park is estimated at $45,000.
As an alternative, the city is looking at having the fire department providing pop-up water parks at various locations during the summer.
Similar programs have been run in Vancouver, Parksville and Red Deer, Alberta.
