The 61st Vernon Winter Carnival (VWC) is out of the gate, and although it looks a lot different than other years, organizers have gone to great lengths to try have some fun despite COVID-19 restrictions.
Vernon Matters reporter Kevin Rothwell rode out to Jopo Ranch, aka Polson Park, to talk to VWC head honcho Vicki Proulx.
There are dozens of events, many of them virtual as a result of the public health order, but a major effort has been made to create events within the restrictions.
