Jackie peacefully passed away on November 30th at 84 years in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. She grew up in the Edmonton area and started her family with Lionel in 1952 in Vernon, B.C. then moved to the Peace River country [logging and farming] in 1959. They relocated to Beaverdell [Diamond K Ranch] in 1981 and finally returned to the Vernon area in 1994.
She loved to dance, listen to old-time music, and watch old westerns on TV. She also loved to square dance, play the Violin and ski, in her earlier years.
Jackie will be missed by, her loving friend and dance partner, John, her sister Diane, and:
Children: Peggy (Dave), Russel, and Linda
Grandchildren: Kathy (Duane), Clayton (Tamara), Michael (Bethany), Cameron (Kim), Adrian, Kayla (Ken), and Amanda (Matt)
Great-grandchildren: Brady, Ava, Van, Hallewyn, Luke, Fayth and Emilee
Predeceased by: husband, Lionel; children: Vern, Gordon, and Beverly; parents: Clifford and Victoria; siblings: Birdie (Denise), Betty, Winnie, and Billy
There will not be a service due to COVID-19 rules.
