December 21, 1957 – June 7, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Milsted.

The long time Vernon resident of “Milsted Manor on Peters Road” passed away suddenly while overlooking her favourite view of Okanagan Lake.

Karen’s proudest moments were the successes of her family, no matter how big or small. The easily excited beach bum happily made everyone she came across feel like family. She was a retired Royal Bank employee who jokingly labeled herself “The Fastest Teller in Town”.

Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Guy; two daughters Chelsea and Kaitlyn (Peter); mother Val; siblings Rick, Ramona (John) and Liza (Scott); many nieces and nephews, numerous extended family members and a great group of friends. She was predeceased by her father John.

Due to the timing of her passing a Celebration of Life will be held when social gatherings are permitted.

To Karen, life was “All that and a bag of chips” and she will be truly missed.
