Change in media personnel for police detachments

The former media relations officer for the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP has a new rank, and a new job in another city.

Jocelyn Noseworthy has been promoted from constable to corporal, and confirms with Vernon Matters, that she is now in charge of media relations for Kelowna RCMP, starting the position Wednesday.

Noseworthy had two stints as the voice and face of Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, the most recent since October 2019.

Corporal Tania Finn is filling in at the Vernon media position, in addition to her regular duties, while a permanent replacement is found.
