Update: RCMP search for missing woman

A woman last seen in the Vernon area has apparently been found and reunited with her family, according to the 100 Mile House Free Press.

22 year old Amy Anonby was headed for Mahood Lake in the Cariboo.

A woman last seen in the Vernon area is the subject of a missing person advisory from RCMP.

Twenty-two-year-old Amy Anonby left Vernon Sunday headed for Mahood Lake in the Cariboo, but never arrived.

“Police and Search and Rescue have searched for Amy and her vehicle but she has not been located,” Cpl. Madonna Saunderson on behalf of 100 Mile House RCMP said.

Anonby is believed to be driving a yellow 2000 Volkswagon Beetle with B.C. plate FL287V.

Amy is described as Caucasian female, 5-4 tall, 130 pounds, blue eyes, with long blonde hair.

Anyone with information on Amy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477.
