Vernon Hosting Torch Relay & Celebration

The public is invited to celebrate the Canada Games Torch Relay which comes through Vernon today.

The torch is stopping in close to 50 communities as its makes its way to Red Deer Alberta, site of the Games in February.

Mayor Victor Cumming, MP Mel Arnold and MLA Eric Foster will be the dignitaries moving the flame from City Hall to the Vernon Rec Centre, where a community celebration will be held at 4:15.
