The Apple Bowl is getting a 25-million-dollar makeover that could bring professional soccer to Kelowna.
The city has announced plans for new grandstands, a new scoreboard and artificial turf at one of the city’s oldest and most iconic sports facilities.
The upgrades are being made to prepare the stadium to host a Canadian Premier Soccer League team as early as 2028, if an owner can be found.
Construction on the Apple Bowl is expected to start in 2027.
