Bidding process opens to replace the roof at Kal Tire Place

Companies are being sought to replace the roof at the local arena.

The City of Vernon opened its Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a Kal Tire Place Roof renewal project Monday, March 30.

The RFQ proposals would be non-binding and require quotations for supply of labour and materials to undertake the project.

The City of Vernon will host a mandatory pre-bid site meeting where bidders can visit the site on April 14.

The deadline for submitting quotes was set for April 30, with the expectation that an agreement between the city and a contractor would be executed by May 11.
