Cameron Whitcomb and Default Lead 2026 Rock The Lake Music Festival Lineup
Rock The Lake Music Festival has announced the first two performers for its 2026 edition, set for July 10-12 at Prospera Place in downtown Kelowna.
B.C. alternative-folk and country artist Cameron Whitcomb and platinum-selling alt-rock band Default will take the stage, with additional acts to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Whitcomb, a Juno Award-nominated artist, made a strong impression in Kelowna last September at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards, where he won both the Breakthrough Artist and Fans’ Choice awards. Default, led by Dallas Smith, is known for its post-grunge alt-rock anthems and remains a defining voice in Canadian rock.
“Rock The Lake has always been about bringing our community together,” said Trish Jelinski, general manager and vice-president of GSL Sports & Entertainment. “We want to ensure we cater to those who live, work, and play around our incredible city, curating a lineup that blends rising talent with homegrown favourites.”
