Work on Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail progressing

Progress is being made on the construction of the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail.

Construction of the Rosemond Bridge has been completed, which the Splatsin Development Corporation (SDC) said was a milestone.

“This portion of the work was a true team effort, with collaboration between our Yucwmenlúcwu Civil Construction team and the Splatsin Homes construction team to bring the bridge structure across the corridor safely and efficiently,” the SDC said.

Temporary stop signs have been installed at Back Enderby Road in an effort to keep people safe after cyclists were observed riding on the trail and crossing the road without stopping.
