SWIFT CURRENT, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Crown prosecutors have stayed charges against a cult leader whose group made life miserable for residents of a Saskatchewan village.

Romana Didulo had been charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and intimidating a justice system participant.

The charges stemmed from a police raid last September at a decommissioned school in the village of Richmound, west of Regina.

Didulo, who calls herself the Queen of Canada, and her followers had been using the school as their home for two years.
