Kelowna International Airport offers spring break travel tips

Kelowna International Airport is expecting a busy spring break.

In fact, more than 140,000 passengers are projected to pass through YLW between March 12 and 29.

With the busy numbers right around the corner, passengers are being advised to plan ahead and allow extra time, as longer than normal wait times are expected.

Officials also recommend checking in online, considering alternate transportation to the airport, arriving early, and reviewing security and baggage rules to ensure a smoother travel experience.
