Farming Round Table to gather insight for agriculture in Spallumcheen

The Township of Spallumcheen will be seeking some insight from the local agricultural sector.

A Farming Round Table will be held at the Municipal Hall on February 4, allowing members of the agricultural community to learn about issues and initiatives that could impact the local sector. It will also allow locals to share their perspectives on what is happening in and around their properties.

Council will also use the round table to gather feedback about the water rates.

The Farming Round Table will go at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4, and will replace the Coffee with the Mayor event scheduled for that day.

The Township does not require people to RSVP for the Farming Round Table, but people were still encouraged to contact the Township at mail@spallumcheentwp.bc.ca ahead of time so staff could prepare and ensure there will be enough space for those attending.
