Grammy nominated musician to play at the Vernon Jazz Club

A major artist will take to the stage at the local jazz venue this spring.

Canadian recording artist, jazz superstar, and Grammy nominee Laila Biali will play a show at the Vernon Jazz Club on March 14.

Biali is nominated for a Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category, and is going up against some heavy hitters including Elton John and Brandi Carlile, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Barbra Streisand, and Laufey.

The 68th annual Grammy Awards go Feb. 1.

The jazz club added this wasn’t the only big act coming to Vernon this year, as it has a number of Juno nominated and other award-winning artists taking to the stage in the coming months.
