West Kelowna RCMP seize firearms, drugs in major raid

West Kelowna RCMP say a major raid earlier this week has uncovered a significant cache of firearms and drugs.

Officers executed a search at a Minehill Drive residence on Tuesday.

During the operation, police seized two shotguns, a semi-automatic rifle, a handgun, a revolver, stun prods, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Investigators also discovered crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and suspected designer bags.

Three people were inside the home at the time of the search and were released at the scene. Two others were arrested nearby on Enterprise Way but were later released pending charge approval.

RCMP say the raid is part of a broader effort to disrupt local drug-trafficking networks in the area. Officials emphasize that ongoing investigations are targeting organized crime and public safety threats.
