Gasoline prices soared in Vernon

Drivers in Vernon have been hit with a big price jump at the pump.
Gas Buddy said the average price for a litre of regular gasoline in Vernon was $1.43.9 Wednesday, Jan. 14.
That was up 23 cents from Tuesday’s average($1.20.9), 26 cents from the previous week ($1.17.9), and 13 cents above December’s average ($1.30.9).
It was also above the average of $1.42.9 recorded on November 1, which marked the start of the most recent gas price decline.
