Winter Carnival Family Fun Park moving to Kal Beach this year

Vernon Winter Carnival is moving its Family Fun Park to a new site this year.

Organizers said the event will be held at Kal Beach Friday, February 14, instead of at Kidston Elementary as originally planned.

The park will still go from 2 to 8 p.m. and will feature interactive activities, games, local market vendors, entertainment, and a fireworks show at 7 p.m.

“We’re excited to bring the Family Fun Park event to Kal Beach,” Vicki Proulx, VWC Board Chair, said.

“Kal Beach offers a wonderful opportunity to engage our rural community partners in Coldstream, and we’re excited to welcome families to a fantastic setting for a memorable Winter Carnival experience.”
