Police stop: Impaired driving includes weed and crack cocaine

Police pulled over a driver on Harvey Ave for being suspected of smoking weed while behind the wheel.

The unmarked cop car spotted the man using a glass pipe last week, who responded by claiming he was “only smoking marijuana.”

Further investigation and testing showed the 56-year-old had smoked crack cocaine earlier in the day.

Criminal charges will be considered pending laboratory results and further investigation.
