Kelowna Chamber opens nominations for 2026 board of directors

Jan 5, 2026 | 11:36 AM

The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for its volunteer board of directors as the organization prepares for its 120th year of operation.

The Chamber says the board plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the organization and representing the interests of local businesses across the region.

Outgoing president Derek Gratz reflected on the past year, calling 2025 a period of strong collaboration among members despite ongoing economic pressure in Canada.

Incoming president Patrick Bobyn said the coming year will include both familiar challenges and new uncertainty for the business community, including continued tariff concerns and broader economic questions.

Chamber directors are volunteers from a wide range of professional backgrounds who help guide policy and priorities in accordance with the organizations bylaws.

Anyone interested in joining the board for 2026 can find application details on the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce website or by contacting the Chamber directly.
