West Kelowna residents have one day left to weigh in on 2026 budget

Dec 11, 2025 | 11:12 AM

The City of West Kelowna is issuing a final call for public input as the engagement period for its Draft 2026 Budget closes Friday.

Residents have until Dec. 12 to review the proposed spending plan and share feedback that will help guide council decisions on funding for city programs, essential services, maintenance and safety priorities.

The city says community participation is key to shaping how investments are distributed across West Kelowna. Residents can visit OurWK.ca/2026budget to view display boards, ask questions and complete an online questionnaire.

The draft budget includes a proposed net municipal tax increase of 7.6 per cent, aimed at supporting major projects and initiatives that the city says reflect community needs and long-term goals.
