West Kelowna RCMP execute search warrant in drug investigation
West Kelowna RCMP have arrested five people and seized drugs and weapons following a search on Boucherie Road.
The raid, carried out on Oct. 31 by the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Drug Section with support from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, followed an extensive drug trafficking investigation.
Police say about 150 grams of suspected illegal drugs, trafficking equipment, several replica firearms, and an altered shotgun were found during the search.
“This investigation highlights our continued efforts to identify and disrupt those involved in the distribution of harmful substances in our community,” said Cpl. Bryan Mulrooney, officer in charge of the West Kelowna Crime Reduction Unit.
