Paving of the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Disposal and Diversion Facility has been delayed due to the rain.
The Regional District of North Okanagan said the paving for the new residential transfer station at the landfill was expected to begin Wednesday, Nov. 5, but will instead begin Thursday, weather permitting.
The Armstrong/Spallumcheen DDF was closed Wednesday, despite the work being delayed.
The RDNO said the facility was expected to be open and fully operational by Saturday.
