The North Okanagan Cricket Club (NOCC) had its flagship team as well as the NOCC Rising team in the event. Other teams included the Lake Country Super Giants, the Kelowna Warriors, the Kelowna Eagles, and the Okanagan Valley Cricket Club.

The NOCC team reached the semi final, where they lost to the Kelowna Warriors. The Warriors went on to win the tournament with a victory of the Super Giants.

The NOCC said the tourney drew in around 200 spectators, with organizers saying they were proud to see the see the game growing in the Okanagan.

“The club is proud to host the biggest cricketing event organized by a Vernon cricket club now for the second year running,” the North Okanagan Cricket Club said in a release.

“Next year the club has plans to further expand the tournament to 12 teams played across multiple days and venues and attracting teams from out of province.”

The club also wants to draw in more vendors, family activities, and live music for next year’s tourney.
