Armstrong landfill closing temporarily for paving work

The Armstrong/Spallumcheen Diversion and Disposal Facility will be temporarily closed for a few days to accommodate some work at the site.

The Regional District of North Okanagan said the facility will need to be closed for three consecutive days to allow for paving of the new residential transfer station.

The RDNO did not say exactly when the closure would occur, noting only that it would be sometime between October 27 and November 8.

The RDNO added the actual dates of the closure would be announced once the contractor has finalized the plans for the work.
