Vernon searching for contractors to upgrade bus stops

The City of Vernon is upgrading its transit infrastructure, and is seeking a company to take on the work.
The city opened a Request for Proposals for prospective proponents to apply to upgrade nine bus stop locations across the city.
The upgrades will include removal and construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and letdowns. The work will also involve repainting markings, relocating and installing signs, and asphalt rehabilitation.
Companies can submit their bids for the transit stop upgrades online here. Questions about the project can be submitted to the city by October 21, and the deadline to submit an application was set for October 30.
