Coldstream changes newsletter distribution process amid mail delivery ban
The District of Coldstream has made a change to how it distributes its newsletter.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers implemented ban on delivery of neighbourhood mail on Sept. 15, which applies to the delivery of all unaddressed mail, so the district has made the newsletters available for pick up at the Coldstream Community Hall and the District Municipal Office.
The district has also partnered with several area businesses to carry the newsletters, and people can pick up copies at the Coldstream Market, Canco Lavington Market, Canco Gas One Stop Convenience, Back to Earth, Rail Trail Cafe and Market, Sun Country Cycle, and Friesen’s Countrytyme Garden.
The newsletters were also being distributed through the front offices of the local schools.
