Local Mounties hosting event for people to learn about careers in policing

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP will host a community sit-down to discuss law enforcement career paths.
Local Mounties will host Coffee With a Cop on Wednesday August 27, at the Tim Hortons on 27th Street from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The event will allow people to sit down with local officers and RCMP Recruiters to learn about the recruitment process and have their questions about careers in law enforcement answered.
“If you’ve been thinking about a career in policing, this is your chance to take that first step and learn more about the opportunities that await you in the force,” Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said in a release.
