The Kelowna Rockets are bringing back a familiar face.
Former NHL forward and Rockets alum Brandon McMillan has been hired as an assistant coach for the 2025–26 season.
McMillan, 35, played four seasons in Kelowna, helping the team win the 2009 WHL title before jumping straight to the NHL with Anaheim. His 15-year pro career also took him to Phoenix, Vancouver, and overseas.
“Brandon brings passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the game at its highest levels,” said Rockets President and GM Bruce Hamilton in a media release.
