Not Guilty plea entered in Vernon murder trial
A murder case has gone to trial in Vernon, with the defendant pleading not guilty.
The trial of Peter Visintainer, accused of first degree murder in the death of Wolf-Ingo Beyer, began at the Vernon law courts Tuesday, August 5.
The B.C. Prosecution Service said the Crown’s application for certain witnesses in the trial to appear via videoconference was also granted Tuesday, while an order excluding other witnesses was made.
The trial is expected to take six weeks to come to a decision.
