Vernon hosts beach fundraiser after tragic crash

The community is rallying around a Vernon woman seriously injured in a crash last month.

Kianna Lacroix was hurt in a head-on collision with a semi-truck on June 22 and remains in recovery with multiple injuries, including a serious head injury.

To show their support, family and friends are putting on a beach fundraiser this weekend.

The Morning Glory Beach Party happens Saturday, July 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at Paddlewheel Park in Okanagan Landing.
