Kelowna ranks among Canada’s most expensive rental markets.
A new report from Statistics Canada shows the average two-bedroom apartment in Kelowna cost $2,400 a month in the first quarter of 2025 — the seventh highest in the country.
One-bedroom units averaged $970, putting Kelowna on par with Victoria.
Meanwhile, rents in parts of Quebec remain far more affordable. Cities like Saguenay and Sherbrooke offered rooms for under $500.
