Longtime B.C. sport leader earns national honour
The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association has announced Rob Johnson’s induction into the CCAA Hall of Fame, recognizing his outstanding leadership and lifelong contributions to collegiate sport in Canada.
Honoured in the Builder category, Johnson is celebrated for his vision, dedication, and decades of service, particularly with the British Columbia Colleges’ Athletic Association (now PACWEST) and the CCAA.
Starting as BCCAA Representative in 1995-96, Johnson later served four terms as CCAA Vice-President of Finance, helping guide the association’s financial and governance evolution.
Known for his professionalism, precision, and deep commitment to student-athletes, Johnson played a key role in strengthening the CCAA’s foundation and promoting national collaboration.
