Do you know this scooter rider? Police seek info

May 27, 2025 | 6:00 AM

Police have released an image of an unidentified rider, involved in a scooter collision captured on CCTV video last month.

On April 6 around 5:15 p.m., Kelowna RCMP responded to the collision between two motorized kick scooter riders in the 800-block of Ellis Street.

One man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital while the other rider departed prior to police attending.

Mounties want to know who that is.

At the time of the initial news release, the Kelowna RCMP provided the description of the unidentified rider believing him to be a male, slim, shorter in stature, wearing a helmet, and camouflage jacket, and riding a black and orange scooter.
